WE IZZLISHA MAJESTY CATTERY ARE COMMITED ON FOLLOWING THE RULES AND REGULATION BY KKM & FIFE.

 

As a breeder who is also a member of KKM and FIFE,

 

I understand I have certain responsibilities to pedigreed cats.

 

I am aware that I am representative of FIFE breeders in my community.

 

This is our Cattery Code Of Ethics:-

1. I will breed my cats with the intent of improving the breed British Shorthair and to produce healthy, happy kittens.

2. I will only breed my cats to the suitable colour of the breed British Shorthair.

3. I will not breed my cats other than British Shorthair.

4. I will deal honestly with the purchasers of my kittens and cats.

5. To the best of my knowledge and ability I will not, without prior disclosure, sell any kitten/cat that is sick or has been exposed to an infectious disease.

6. I will not sell or place kittens prior to their attaining a proper level of immunity against common infectious diseases.

7. I will not sell or place kittens without a pedigree/certificate to the purchaser

8. I will place cats directly to the new pet owner or in a manner that will enable contact with the ultimate owner to provide on-going education and advice.

9. I will strive to house my cats in a manner exceeding the FIFE Minimum Cattery Standard.

10. I will ensure my cats are kept in a healthy environment and I will ensure they receive the proper veterinary care as needed.

11. I will maintain appropriate cattery records and will correctly register litters and cats.

12. I will work honestly with my fellow breeders and provide timely and correct litter registration information to those who use my cats for breeding.

13. I will mentor new breeders to ensure they have a solid information foundation.
